Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers, MOPS, is a group for women with children birth through kindergarten. We meet twice a month at Crosspoint Church while our children are cared for in the Children’s Ministry. In these meetings, we share in the journey of motherhood. We strive to create an atmosphere of supportive and authentic relationships that help us strengthen our families, marriages, friendships, the world around us and ultimately our relationship with God.
MOPS International Mission Statement
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
What can I expect when I come to MOPS?
You can expect to find a warm and caring group of women going through the same stage of life as you! Small groups have a Mentor Mom to help anchor discussion and offer support and advice. Every meeting we start with a little breakfast and fellowship. After breakfast, we alternate between a speaker and a creative activity. Speakers offer wonderful growth opportunities in faith and in motherhood. We hear topics ranging from discipline, love and logic, and marriage to nutrition, safety, self-defense and much more. Our creative activities are always quick and fun and make great keepsakes or gifts. We also hear devotionals and have time to discuss topics together with our Mentor Moms.
Meeting Dates & Times
We meet in the Crosspoint Church Worship Center the second and fourth Friday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We follow the MISD calendar and meet throughout the school year, typically September through May.
What is MOPPETS?
Our MOPPETS program provides care for children ages birth through kindergarten in the Children’s Building at Crosspoint. While mothers are rejuvenated in the MOPS meeting, the children enjoy a safe environment where they interact socially through activities and play with children of the same age. They also learn age-appropriate scripture and stories.
